The versatility of custom motorised blinds in Canberra has meant that they can be used in any room around the home, but they are particularly useful for hard-to-reach windows where manually operated blinds would be impractical. Plus, they are 100% child safe and provide the illusion that someone is always home.
Many of the blinds in our range can be motorised, including – roller, dual roller, Thermacell cellular, vertical, roman and timber venetian. All of the same options are available whether you have opted for manual or remote blinds, so you have your choice of fabric and colour.
We have an extensive range of motors to choose from, ensuring that we have a solution for all electric window blinds that we install. Our range includes – A/C line voltage, wireless rechargeable, wireless battery and solar powered. Our expert consultants can help you make the most appropriate selection.
“Can’t fault Energy Window Fashions, they came up country (85K) and were prepared to spend time going over samples, they were very patient, knowledgeable and pleasant. When the product arrived and it took all day to install, they were organised. We had an issue with the electric motors in the first week that was fixed immediately. They were very professional to work with. I visited the showroom and got wonderful service.“Rona Flood
We also have an extensive range of controls to choose from, allowing you to open and close electric blinds as easily as thinking about it. Home automation places the control in the palm of your hands (via your smartphone or tablet). Other options include hand held remote, wall mounted switch and LED time programmable remote. Our expert consultants can help you make the most appropriate selection.
Yes, although it will depend on the amount of windows that you have had fitted. Generally, we will place all of the automatic blinds in a single room on the one remote so that you can just go from room to room.
Our range of solar and battery powered motors don’t require mains power, so will still work even if your mains power goes out. In the case of our other remote control blinds, however, they will generally be able to be operated manually, too.
Fortunately, looking after automated blinds is not much different to looking after your home’s other window furnishings. Simply use the same instructions that have been provided for your blind type and do not obstruct it whilst its moving.
