“Thank you Amaru for the recent installations of our blinds. We were most impressed from the initial consultation with all the advice that you gave us on the very confusing subject of energy saving. All the blinds fit perfectly and are exactly what we envisioned. We must also congratulate you on your staffs professionalism and high level of customer service, a credit to your business.“
Smythe FamilyOur wooden venetian blinds are available in a choice of two finishes, allowing you to achieve the exact look that you desire for your home. Paints provide a more contemporary and modern appearance – we have a wide range of colours available, from matte to high gloss. Stains, on the other hand, bring out the natural grain patterns and add definition. Neutral to darker tones are available.
*Due to variations in monitors and browsers colours may appear differently on-screen to the actual product. We recommend booking a free measure & quote or visiting our showroom to view samples and ensure the best match.
Wood venetian blinds can be operated using a choice of two methods – cord (one cord is used to raise or lower the blind, whilst the other is used to adjust the angle of the slats) and motorised (remote control or switch system). Cord controls can be installed on either the left or right side of the furnishing, or they can even be split so that one is on either side.
Q Are there any other benefits to installing these blinds?
AWooden blinds actually offer a number of benefits besides their amazing natural appeal. They are child safe when cord safety devices are used, they allow for airflow control, and they come with a matching pelmet to hide the hardware.
Q Is there a maximum width for wood blinds?
AAs timber is a heavy and natural product, we feel that the maximum safe width in order to get the best life expectancy from them is 2400mm. In the case of wider windows and doors, multiple blinds can be butted together.
Q How do I care for these blinds?
AThe good news is that maintaining venetian wooden blinds is fairly simple – simply go over the slats with the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner whenever you vacuum the floors.
